APPEARANCE
Outside of the ring, Annika dresses conservatively and formally. She will often be seen wearing dresses ending between the knee and ankle, waist-length hair tied in a severe French Twist and almost never seen loose. Occasionally a business suite with wide-split collar will appear instead of a dress, but the ubiquitous olive-green greatcoat of the long-defunct Soviet Red Army will never be far from her pale shoulders.
Inside of the ring, Annika wears a crimson-coloured leotard and black compression shorts which extend down to the knees. A short skirt of the same colour as the leotard reaches just beyond her thighs. Her knuckles, wrists and forearms are heavily taped and strapped with her hair loosened from its usually severe French Twist to a slightly more practical ponytail.
HISTORY
Annika Reizeger was born into a farming community in one of the many poor, large-scale agricultural cooperatives of the former Soviet Union. Like many young Soviets outside of the vast Russian cities she joined the Red Army during the late eighties and experienced first-hand the corruption and collapse of the Communist system and with it Eastern Europe and the Soviet Union itself.
Trapped in a country without a care for its soldiers, falling apart from the inside, without the means to support herself Annika travelled to the United States, the former great enemy of the Cold War.
FIGHTING STYLE
Annika relies on a sustained, high-tempo offence which keeps her opponent off-balance and defending. She does not have the strength or the mass to stand against the majority of opponents and relies on manoeuvrability and flexibility to make sure her opponent's weight advantage cannot be brought to bare.
Her inventory of moves is almost entirely kicks, with the occasional elbow or palm-thrust. Lacking the size-to-strength ratio to use much more than a hip-toss, Annika focuses on the head and lower limbs of her opponents in an attempt to negate their size advantage.
The Spinning Heel Kick and/or Scissor Kick is a favoured "Finishing" move.
