APPEARANCE
Emma's appearance shows the scars of the life that she has had so far, in a literal sense as well as the metaphorical one. Her face is heart-shaped, with blue eyes and black hair.
She has long arms and legs, and a very slight curve. Other notable features on her is a long, thin scar across her left cheek, a smaller, slightly thicker scar just above her right breast (there are far more, but these are the two that stand out). She also has a barbed wire tattoo around her wrist.
She's also far stronger than she looks
She tends to compete in whatever she can grab out of her bag, which is mostly jeans and sports bras (usually shredded to hell as far as the jeans go), and Doc Martens.
HISTORY
Emma MacNamara was born in the middle of 1989, the oldest of three to drug addicted parents.
Most of her early memories were of her father abusing her physically, mentally, and emotionally. Constantly toying with her and putting her in as much pain as she could handle, which grew steadily as theyears went on. Authorities like to think that they saved her and her siblings from the hell that was their parental home when Emma was six or seven, but Emma knows full well that the only one that was really saved from anything was her brother, a toddler at the time, too young to remember anything, whereas s he and her sister would bear the scars of it.
Emma was labelled quickly as mentally disturbed by medical staff, who quickly saw that there wasn't something right with the child that would frequently sit before them with a bowed head as the care workers, and eventually foster parents, explained that she would scream bloody murder at night, claiming that she could hear her father coming for her, amongst other things.
The system had hoped that their lives would become more stable out of the "care" of their birth parents, but this wasfar from the case. Instead, Emma's father spent most of his time chasing them down, and trying to get back to what had been going on before. When arrested, he would send friends after them, but particularly Emma. She never knew why.
As she hit her teens, she fell into the trap that had riddled her parents until it claimed her mother; drugs and alcohol. Getting whatever she could get from whoever would buy it for her as far as the drink went, and heroin. A habit that she claims to be clean of now, but the evidence is still there. Falling into circles such as this only made her already turbulent life even moreso, as she found herself fighting on a constant basis, just to stay alive. More often than not, she would have to use whatever she could get her hands on as she would be fighting with men who were a fair deal bigger than her, but it taught her to be fast on her feet as well.
In a bid to get her out of the habit, her foster parents signed her into three martial arts classes; karate, Judo and wrestling, with wrestling being the only one she ever attended. But even then, as she realised that she couldn't do what she was used to doing, she gave it up, the fighter in her unimpressed with what she saw.
Since she turned eighteen, she's spent most of her life on the run, still hiding from her father, who has since claimed the life of his son. She works as a stripper when she needs the money, knowing that unless she works in a fighting environment, she has no other way of being able to support herself.
Until, of course, she found her way into the Circuit...
FIGHTING STYLE
Emma couldn't be classed as having a style per say. She is very of the mindest of: "if it works, do it." And just about swears by it. She will hit her opponent with anything that she can, whether it is her fists, legs, head, or a weapon. She carries the mentality at all times that she may die, stemming from her life on the streets.
She is, however, FAR stronger than she looks, able to lift close to 250 pounds, though maybe 275 if she's running a massive adrenaline rush. She is also incredibly quick and agile.
