APPEARANCE
She is tall and somewhat thin, but deceptively strong and she has muscle. She has tan skin and brown hair, which is just as often perfectly straight as it is unkempt and wild.

Her clothes vary wildly. When performing business operations she often dresses in a form-fitting suit or a black dress occasionally. However, when she is not working, her attire can range from the causally comfortable to the absurd and extreme. When fighting, she wears a black or gray sports bra, and short black tights. She tapes her fists and feet before she fights as well.

HISTORY
Not much is known about Maria Janes, except that she claims to be the sister of Theodore Janes, the fairly well known freelance assassin and fellow Circuit fighter. She is financially backed by an organization that prefers to remain anonymous and her goals in the Circuit are uncertain. Given that much of her past is seemingly missing and she cannot verify her alleged relation to Theodore, some wonder why she is even being allowed to fight, given the security issues with bringing such a person into the Circuit.

FIGHTING STYLE
Speed. Speed. Speed. That's how Maria operates. She's strong enough to fight, but she's more likely to make you dizzy than knock you out directly. She uses Savate, a French martial art that combines boxing with many swift and flowing kicks. She tries to run around other fighters, confuse them, get them off balance and then will go for the win with a sudden submission when the opponent is off-guard.
