APPEARANCE
Oliver is 6'2" and 195 pounds. He has brown eyes and blond hair--typically styled to perfection. He has a chiseled jawline offset by a cleft chin. Queen has a scar on his chest near his left shoulder the size of a dime--though it is unclear how he received it.

He has an athletic build--however, it can be said that his broad shoulders are not proportionate to his slender, but toned lower body.

Predominately in his fights, agility is key--thus settling his attire to a shirtless torso with green and black gym shorts and matching combat gloves. However, he is not completely opposed to fighting in denim jeans if need be.

HISTORY
Once upon a time, a young man was born to wealth. Old money passed down from multiple generations--a fortune that had evolved from the iron working of the Industrial Revolution. This Southern, Aristocratic family's wealth survived the Civil War and The Great Depression only to be bestowed upon a toe-headed boy from New Orleans towards the end of the twentieth century.

The son of a senator--his early years involved much travel with his parents to various parts of the globe--until tragedy struck the Queen family.

A plane crash would take the lives of both his mother and father shortly after they departed from a Peace Summit near Tel Aviv, Israel.

Though the crash was attributed to engine failure and written off as accidental--an ungodly amount of the Queen fortune was spent salvaging the wreckage and returning it to an undisclosed location.

Orphaned at the age of seven—Oliver Queen spent most of his childhood bouncing from continent to continent in travel with his Great Aunt—an eccentric, snobbish woman known simply to him as Aunt Queen. Ollie was introduced to a world of different cultures and spent a large deal of his youth tutoring under what his Aunt believed to be the best professors the many cultures had to offer. Upon reaching his teenage years—Oliver was enrolled into Excelsior Boarding school.

At Excelsior, Oliver’s extracurricular activities included Judo, Karate, music, and most importantly—archery. Becoming the school’s top archer—he was soon nicknamed by fellow classmates—Robin Hood.

Although combat was only a side hobby—he found a curious interest in the various types—tracing their histories back to its original roots.

His teenage years were spent chasing skirt and living on the high of supreme wealth--recklessly wasting his potential.

Upon graduating from Excelsior—Oliver was left with two options—he could either gallivant off and see the world at a more mature age or take over his inheritance and run his father’s corporation of chain facilities ranging from non-profit organizations to the manufacturing of weaponry, satellites, and munitions for the United States' Armed Forces.

Giving in to his Aunt’s wishes—Oliver remained in the States to live his father’s dream and continue the Queen name for Queen Industries—but only after a hard fought bout with the company’s current President—Charles Ellerbe.

Unwilling to step down and let a mere child run Queen Industries—Oliver was forced to call in a team of lawyers to settle the matter—thus putting him on the outs with most of the corporation’s bigwigs.

Although life in Queen industries was growing—reaching technology fields and supporting medical breakthroughs—Oliver couldn’t help but feel like his destiny called for something else. He already led a double life by pretending to be the hotshot billionaire playboy face of Queen Industries—but also practiced his childhood hobbies in the privacy of a gymnasium he had built near Queen Tower—his unknown residency. There, Ollie had a multitude of friends and trainers come to help partake in his interes t in combat--including wrestling.

A single man with no potential candidate for a wife and no children—Ollie often found himself in sticky situations with money-grubbing women—mostly the arrogant debutantes that visited the resort in Monte Carlo he often frequented.

However, the tension of dealing with two-faced white collars and demanding family members drove Oliver into a state of discomfort. The end result being that the man with the double life chose to do as he wished rather than what was expected of him.

After the passing of his Aunt Queen, Oliver received the full inheritance of his family’s fortune as well as his place as acting CEO of the business.

To add to the list of startling revelations for the "new" Ollie Queen--he announced his engagement to long time girlfriend Lauren McCarthy--a red headed vixen filled with mystery herself.

Still, though time had passed--the mystery behind his parents' untimely death haunted him. After spending a large sum of money to have the wreckage reanalyzed--traces of C4's main component were found among the scrap metal suggesting that the crash had not in fact been an accident.

On a mission to uncover the truth, Queen offered himself to the underground world in hopes of coming one step closer to vengeance.

FIGHTING STYLE
Relying on his agility and intelligence, Queen often anticipates his opponent's movement to assist with quick evasion.

Although his background training has been for the most part a hobby in the fields of mastering martial arts--he is not above using submission techniques to end a fight.
